Content from Rick Steves, author of the best selling Europe guidebook for independent and budget travelers, is being made available for the iVia Guides™ beta program. Portions of "Mona Winks, Self-Guided Tours of Europe's Top Museums" are now ready for testing with the PDA application for Pocket PC.

Use iVia Guides and Rick Steves to navigate your way through the British Museum and the Westminster section of London. Learn all about the Rosetta Stone, the Parthenon, the Elgin Marbles, and other ancient artifacts, including a brief history of art, artists, and an artist timeline. The Westminster module takes you on an hour's stroll through the heart of London from Big Ben to Trafalgar Square.

iVia Guides is a new entry into the field of travel products for the Pocket PC, offering mobile resources for the independent traveler. The final release of iVia Guides is expected to include content from Rick Steves, as well as other information to help you on your trip. European destinations such as London, Paris, and Rome, will be offered initially.

iVia Guides requires Microsoft's Pocket PC 2002 operating system. Beta test applications are now being taken on the iVia Guides web site.
