I have HP Jornada 568 Pocket PC 2002. I just bought Linksys Wireless Access Point Router with 4-port switch 2.4 GHz (BEFW11S4 ver. 2) and Linksys Wireless CompactFlash Card 2.4 GHz (WCF12).

Linksys router is connected to DSL modem.

Both my desktop and notebook have no problems connecting to Internet via Linksys router using network cables. Also, setting up CompactFlash card to work with my Jornada was a 5 second breeze.

But, I would like to use the same compact flash wireless card with my notebook, via PC Card adapter. The problem is, Linsys never figured out that they should release WinXP drivers for it (like they did for WCF11, the previous version of the card)...

Is there a way to make this Linksys card work with my notebook? If not, is there a CompactFlash Type 1 802.11b card that will work with both Pocket PC and notebook running WinXP?

Thanx,

I don't know about the Linksys card. I know that Symbol has WinXP and Pocket PC drivers for there CF Wifi. Socket has Pocket PC drivers, but you can use the Symbol drivers with the Socket card on both WinXP and Pocket PC.
