Update for e740?

I just got my e740. I was just wondering if there was a way to tell if you already have the update?

The update I'm wondering about is:

In all likelihood you do have the update, but the easiest ways to check are:

1. You have the 'Bliss' today screen as your default. (The one that looks like the neat field and blue sky in Windows XP.)

2. You have Windows Media Player 8.5.

If you've got these, you've got the update!

Sweet looks like I do. I was just confused because my video is running pretty choppy. I'v even tried using the optimized pocket divx and it's still very choppy. Is there anythign I should know or and specific way I should set up my e740 for optimized video playback? Thanks.

I have an e-740 that I installed the update on and it runs video through PocketTV and DIVX very smoothly - I don't think it is a problem with your machine.

Where do you store the video - is it in main memory, an SD of CF card, or a microdrive? If the file isn't in main memory did you configure the program with a large enough cache?

Have you seen that file playing on another Pocket PC? Is it possible that the choppiness is in the video itself?
