I just got my new Axim 300 and I love it. I ordered it Thanksgiving night. I kept up with it on Dell's site and things have gone flawlessly. Told me it was "in production" then "shipped" and then "en route". Sure enough, landed at my door today! The screen is bright, clear and beautiful. I don't notice any speed decreases from my Maestro. I'm very impressed with it. I'm going to do some WiFi tests tomorrow and some Divx testing as well. I'll report again tomorrow night. For $199, I'm very pleased! Good job Dell!

Here's a question out of curiosity - how does the Axim's size compare to the Maestro? Any other comparisons you can make easily (ie screen, buttons, software)?
Seeing as I have a Maestro, I would be grateful to hear what you have to say comparing the two.

It is similar to the Maestro in size but the Axim actually feels better in my hand. The Axim is a little wider and slightly thicker. There's absolutely no comparison in the screens. The Axims is fantastic. Otherwise speed, video, music seem about the same. The battery life is much better on the Axim too. Went to Bestbuy tonight, if you're looking for a small (tiny) unit with a gorgeous screen and don't need a CF slot - the HP 1910 is the one. The smallest and best PPC I've seen yet. I'm still happy with my Axim though.
