Hey everyone. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a good program that I can resize my pictures with. I want to have pictures on my SD card but I have found they are space hogs. Any suggestions? Jeff

Any desktop program will do, really. Are your pics JPG?

Photoshop is good, but expensive. Digital cameras usually come with photo-editing software.

Check out Spb Picture Optimizer (http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=311&platformId=2&productType=2&catalog=0&sectionId=0&productId=24962). Basically you point it a folder on your Pocket PC (or a memory card) and it chews them them all and saves them in a smaller format. Quite cool, though it's going to get even better. :D

First of all, the pic has to be jpeg. Then use Microsoft Image Composer (comes with MS Frontpage) to shrint the pic to under 320 size. If the pic is too large, use Adobe Photoshop Elements & resize the image there as well.

What does that "80" mean?

JPEG quality is on a scale of 1-100, where 1 is the most lossy (smallest files), to 100 (minimal loss, more like LZW compression).

Awesome Jason Thanks! That was just what I was looking for. It shrunk the files to like 10k apiece! I think I'll have to buy that or spend all weekend converting before the trials up LOL. and I dont feel like doing that much! Jeff

If you are running windows xp you can go to microsoft and download powertoys. They have an image resizer that will make images any size you want including PPC size by simply right clicking a picture. here is a link...

The other is nice but this one is free... if you have xp. :D

here's another vote for the windows xp powertoys - it's really quite convenient, when you factor in that it can batch convert files at once. it helps cut down on both file size and loading time.
