Does anyone know if Pocket IE can support Java applications? Does it have the same overall capabilities as IE 6?

Pocket IE can support Java applications, but not natively; you'll need a Java Virtual Machine. My iPAQ 3870 shipped with the Jeode VM (http://www.insignia.com/content/products/pda.shtml), and it works in Pocket IE. I just confirmed that it works using the DSL Reports speed test (http://speedtest.dslreports.com).

As for the capabilities of Pocket IE, I believe it's equivalent to Internet Explorer 3 or 4, although, with a registry modification, you can trick it into thinking it's 5 or 5.5 so that some Web pages work correctly.
