...it's annoying the heck out of me.

I installed some (old) applications and suddenly the start menu turns white (like the way it was in PPC2K)! But I don't like this and I want to revert back to PPC2K2 style start menu. Changing themes doesn't help - the start menu's still white.

There must be a registry tweak or something I can apply, does anybody know what it is?

If your start menu folder has more than 10 items (excluding the programs and settings folder) the start menu background will turn white.

Which also translates to lessen the apps on your Start Menu...
