Any Difference Between SD Card Brands?

I'm planning on buying a SD card for my 3955. I thought I had read somewhere that the scandisk don't work well with Ipaqs. If so, which brand do you recommend?

Also, I have the CF sleeve which I use with a modem. Want the extra memory for documents and/or e-books. Am I right in thinking I can use the SD card for this? Or should I get a different card for that slot? Thanks.

Using SD for memory is the right way since you would be able to leave your modem in the CF slot and use both simultaneously. HP recommends updating your iPaq to the latest ROM version on their support site for those having Sandisk problems. I've read a few peoples' reviews after upgrading that the problem went away.

In general, Sandisk is a good brand and I've used them with my digital camera in the past (CF not SD though). Viking is also reliable, but most of the small companies make quality products at lower prices.

I'm using a 128MB Sandisk SD card on my iPaq 3950/55 with no issues at all.
