View Full Version : Trying to connect Maestro to Verizon

I've been trying for 10 days to get my Audiovox Maestro to access the internet thru my Verizon account. I'm using the data cable that came with my Maestro and am connecting thru an Audiovox 9155 cell phone.

Audiovox says the 9155 works fine for connection, Verizon says I need a 9100 (which isn't made anymore).

I am able to connect to the Verizon server, but when I put in a web address I keep getting "The page you are looking for cannot be found". I know my internet explorer install is good because when I connect to the internet thru my sync cradle and my desktop computer, I am able bring up web pages on my Maestro, no problem.

Has anyone else had any experience with this or any connection with a Maestro? Any help would be appreciated. Audovox and Verizon just blame each other.

I have the same combination of hardware and it does work, but it can be flaky at times. Sometimes the phone will show an active connection on the screen but the Maestro doesn't recognize ths connection so you end up with errors like the one you described.

Please let me know what troubleshooting steps you have already gone through, and I will try to help you fix this problem.
