Here's the deal...
Go to CompUSA by Saturday, December 14.
Purchase Pocket Informant (Handango Box)
http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=298755
It is normally $19.99, you should receive an immediate $5.00 discount.
Pick up a rebate form and you'll eventually receive an additional $15.00 back.
Essentially, it is free after mail-in rebate.
But that's not all! Register your Pocket Informant at Handango to receive an addtional $20.00 of software. You'll receive a code for the $20.00 via e-mail after registration, which can be done online.

That's pretty cool. Too bad I already have Pocket Informant. :(
Everyone else... Go out and get PI! It's great!

For the "Palm OS"? Look at the link...

What does this program do that the regular software that comes standard on PPCs don't? I'll probably just get this because it's a penny and the other software, so hey...
It DOES say for Palm platform at the bottom, but the picture of the box IS for PPC, you can even read it, right under the big picture of the Ipaq... probably just an oversight.

The main difference is the way it presents and handles Pocket Outlook data. There's no comparison. It's a lot like comparing how DateBk4 on the Palm compares to the Date Book built into the OS.
I've bought PI a couple years ago and never looked back. It's a tad slower than the built-in tools, but it's well-worth it. The PI guys are extremely helpful and friendly as well.

This version is for Pocket PC, CompUSA just doesn't know what they are talking about. See the response from the developer here: http://www.pocketinformant.com/Forums/viewtopic.php?t=247
Is the offer open to purchaser outside US? I am in Malaysia.

Sold Out? maybe where you are but my local store had plenty of copies. I purchased it and I have been using Agenda Fusion, at the moment the screens are a little different and I'm finding that PI is a little slower. As for which I prefer, each program has special things to offer so it's hard to say which is better at this point. I'll try it a few more days then decide. I already bought Agenda Fusion 2 weeks ago, and their website says a new version will be out by the holidays, so we'll see.

A word of caution. I found out later (when I finally got to the fine print) that the $20 handango rebate only applies to apps on the following page:
http://www.handango.com/RebatePage_1b.jsp?siteId=664
You'll still get Pocket Informant free after mail-in rebate however.

Yeah, but Battery Pack's on there. Not to mention TomeRaider, CityTime, Lextionary.
However, I can't take advantage of this because there's no CompUSA where I live. :( :x :x
