Has anyone installed MS Reader on a Japanese Pocket PC?
As an English speaker using a Japanese model Pocket PC it's a huge frustration that I can't get MS Reader working. :( For a long time there was no download but they put it up for iPAQ users who were upgrading to PPC2002. The MS page says it is for English machines but I thought I't try it anyway.
When I install I get an error that the following font files can't be installed: bkdings.ttf, frutiger.ttf, frutbd.ttf and frutit.ttf. If someone could copy and send me these files I'd be very grateful. (I'm presuming as it's a free download that's not illegal).
When I try to start MS Reader it gives me an error saying it can't start because some files are missing. I'm wondering whether it is these font files or perhaps some others which come with an English machine but not a Japanese one.
If you could help me get this working I would be grateful. I use Mobipocket and Palm Reader but the range of books available is quite limited. I'd virtually stopped reading books until I got an e-book reader for my PPC and it's now one of the the PDAs most important functions.
