CESlideshow, from Creative Engineering, puts a slideshow of your favorite jpg, jpe, jpeg, bmp, 2bp, png and gif images right on your Today screen.

One of the keys to this software is the degree to which you can configure it. Some of the options available include:

• Image orientation (i.e. portrait or landscape)
• Image size
• Stretch-to-fit in full, 1/2 or 1/3 size
• Border
• Time interval between slides
• Background color

My Today screen is already pretty full, but CESlideshow is very easy to turn on and off (via the Today options screen), so this gives me an easy way to show off both my Pocket PC and my great photographic skills.

Maybe the very BEST feature is that some of you lucky readers will get this neat little application for free. Jack, at Creative Engineering, has generously agreed to give away five free licenses of CESlideshow. We'll randomly choose the five winners from our list of all registered readers in a few days. Of course, you must be registered with this site in order to win. But, in the meantime, you can download a free trial version of the software using the Handango link above.
