Yes, the Axim works great with WiFi.
I have my Linksys WCF12 and my Axim x5 working perfectly. I roam all around campus & it hops from one WAP to the other. I did not need to change any settings, I just downloaded the drivers off the linksys website and installed them, placed the card into the Axim, and ding, it worked right away. Funny thing is that I don't even have a WAP, it connected to a neighbor who most have a WAP in my apartment comlex. He has a linksys WAP, I can tell because his ssid is linksys, and I can connect just fine through him. So far I like the linksys, it works good. It maybe doesn't have as good a power saving mode as the Symbol & Socket cards, but hey, it is 1/3 the price.

I think the WCF12 will work with Pocket PC, not the WCF11...
Double check, before you buy the card...

did you have any issues with powersaving mode?
Thanks for the info guys.
I Think I gona try the wcf12.
Linksys told me the wcf12 would not work because it only work
with Type I, How can they sell products when they d'ont even know
how they work. ahhhh
Have no problem with power I think but I would like to know
how long the Axim can go.
Thanks Paul.

Thats funny... Type II slots are backwards compatible and Type I slots obviously work with Type I cards... They make huge numbers of network products and almost certainly have a support database for their techs.
Orrr.... Maybe that's why their cards are so inexpensive.
Maybe a thousand monkeys with a thousand keyboards cannot actually do tech support?
-I can't help but vent: they always put me through the ringer when I call 'em.
