The Dell units are only $50 more after rebate, but if you're short on cash and can't do the $250 outlay for the Dell (before rebate), this might be a good choice.

The site doesn't seem to say if it has Pocket PC 2002 OS or the older Pocket PC 2000 OS. Seems to be PPC 2002 but just want to be sure. Does anyone know?

Man that is a great price for this PPC2002 device.
I bought it when it was $299 and thought it was a great deal.
If you're looking to get a startup pocketpc with some good features (most notabily the dual memory slots), this would be a good device to consider.

the battery life provided by the built-in lithium-polymer battery can last for about 8 hours of basic usage and about 2 hours on heavy usage. That's quite the same as most Pocket PCs anyway.

I've never gotten anywhere near 8 hours. -near 7 hours. -near 6 hours. -near 5 hours. -near 4 hours.

Sent my unit in for service(for battery usage) and it was returned to me with a note that no problem was found. It should give you over 3 hours of usage per day.

Very good device, great in every way, lots of features, will use SD and CF.
