Stylus in the Antenna? That's weird
Otherwise I didn't see much new here, my problem with T-Mobile right now is that I've heard their software causes a lot of problems and in the U.S. GRPS is not the best wireless solution.
So, I wait and put my hope in a Microsoft Rep's off handed comment regarding a CDMA XDA (which is supposedly coming soon!)

Yeah, there wasnt really anything new other than it looks like they added colored plastic to the outer casing.
This might help with the paint flaking issue.
All of the XDA/O2/T-m's have the stylus in the antenna -- works well.
I'm sad to think about CDMA.... I've just ordered my T-mobile PPCP!
But then again -- I've passed out several times from holding my breath -- waiting for Sprint to launch the Samsung i700 CDMA phone (rumors of this came out this summer and its no where to be found!)
I finally decided it would take a year for the prices of the device to drop to a point where I could afford it (they are still selling the crappy Thera for over 500 bucks!).
I might as well try out the T-mobile for $299...

Well, the other thing is that I'm still a little unsure as to how Sprint is going to handle the situation (being a Sprint Customer). On one hand, they currently offer really good data rates (e.g. unlimited) for Cell. phones and really expensive ones for other devices.
But what happens with an XDA? Or a Smartphone 2002?
I'll be honest, I really want wireless but it isn't worth the rates that Sprint is currently charging for data devices (e.g. notebooks). At the same time I flirted with the idea of getting an XDA from T-Mobile for data and keeping my Sprint phone but I found that the data rate just wasn't good enough to justify the expense.
So I guess I'm stuck at the mercy of Sprint...:(

Just a note, this is not a new version of the XDA, it has been out just as long. The german T-Mobile version has always had the rubberized back. I think the 'new' XDA' 64Meg, new GPRS stack, etc., is still vaporware.

I have a PCS Vision plan with a Toshiba 2032 as my device and the unlimited data is part of it. For 54.99 I have 500 minutes anytime,4500 minutes for nights and weekends, plus all the data I can consume.. :D
Can't wait for a real PPCPE thought...

Indeed, I think the one here is the standard non-rubberized version. Moreover, the stylus has always been in the antenna...

I read the review and decided not to post on this because I could find nothing "new" about it...I was also a little put off by the listing of GPRS costs as a negative about the DEVICE - that's a carrier issue, not a device issue. :?

I'd forgotten about that :D
That said, I just couldn't see myself using a Thera as my primary PDA, just too many issues (glad your happy with it though!)
