Has anyone else out there had the same problem as me? I woke up at 3:00AM andt he first thought that came to my mind was, "All right it is finally Monday and I get my Axim today!!!" Shortly there after I realized it is only Sunday :x and I won't get it for 38 more hours :( . I know this because I laid there and figured it out. Needless to say, I was now wide awake and started wishing it was Monday. Never before in my life have I wished that I could skip Sunday and get right into Monday :? . Either I need a life or I need my Axim. I'll settle for my Axim in about 24 hours.

Hehehe. Not quite (though mine also arrives on Monday). But I did find myself YESTERDAY thinking "Oh, tomorrow's Monday..." With the holiday, Friday felt like Saturday and Saturday felt like Sunday.

It seems so weird to me (I know, this isn't going to make me too popular) that people are still waiting. It seems like a lifetime since I got mine (Wen.)...

Anyway, enjoy your monday (remember you have to fully charge the battery before you use ;))

Dude, you're evil. I'll have to PM you when I get my 5450 with camera shots.

Amazing how technolust makes us want to wish our weekends away on occasion... ever feel "sad" leaving work when you got a new toy there?

Thomas, you are one cold dude. :)

I probably won't enjoy Monday, seeing as how it will seem like it will last for a week. But I will enjoy Monday night when I can caress my new little beauty. :way to go:

Well Rirath, if it takes a lot longer for yours to get shipped, maybe I'll let you hold my new baby(for a price of course). :P

I know how you feel. I am waiting very impatiently for my Viewsonic V35. I keep checking Amazon to see if it shipped even though I know thats impossible. Oh well, it'll arrive sooner or later. Hopefully sooner.

Just remember, prepare yourself for the charging wait, it's real torture!

I've heard that the light on the charger indicates the unit is ready after 2 hours, though Dell recommends 4. Is there any point in leaving it for the other 2 hours (other than the aforementioned torture)?

I think you're fine if you wait until the light turns green. I wasn't watching with the one I'm testing although I have noticed that the battery charger on the cradle charges faster than through the PDA.

Maybe that's why it only took 2 hours for some people...

Technolust :) How true a term :p Friday my dad and I wasted 6 hours of our day off, just to stand in lines at Fry's (yes, 4 hours at one and 2 at another). I did get $30 back from a previous purchase price adjustment, which paid most of the 128MB CF (which also has a $20 rebate)...

*anxiously waits for his Axim* Think anyone will come up with replacement cases, maybe clear... with a couple blue LED's

Hope so, since for me personally I'm probably headed back to iPaq land. This case is simply too big for my pocket :(

Kati,

On another forum I read that in the first 2 hours your unit will charge to 80%. At this point the charging goes into trickle mode till the battery is fully charged.b Whether true or not, I don't know. For the sake of the battery life, I guess I can wait another 4 hours. After all, it's been 168 hours since I ordered it (but who's really counting  )
