Maybe via IR or Sync Cable/cradle? Can someone tell me how to do it or if it's possible?

See Jason's reply to the previous post to this forum.
It seems to me that it must be possible to do this in software (using either the IR port or a sync cable)... it's just a matter of someone writing the code...

Out of the box, no.
But, like all things, I'm sure it's TECHNICALLY possible - no one has written the app to make it happen yet.

This is how you do it on T-Mobile:

You're saying it's possible? Hmm. I went to the page above and didn't see anything relevant....but I'd be very interested to know if this would work.

Yes, the software download on the T-Mobile page referenced sets up connection sharing between a desktop or laptop and a T-Mobile data-enabled phone. It works with dialup or GPRS, and I would imagine it will work with other networks, because the software does not seem to be network specific. Give it a try...
