AvantGo on a Card?

Does anyone know how to get AvantGo channels to save to a card rather than internal memory?

You'll need to hack the registry :-

- Move your \Wndows\Avantgo files onto the storage card
- Using a regisrty editor change value .....

Avantgo
DatabaseLocation

From "\Windows\Avantgo" to "\Storage Card\Avantgo"

If you're not too sure about editing the registry directly, RegKing makes it a lot less worrysome:

Just by way of update, RegKing worked like a charm and it updated content directly on the SD.

It was, however, painfully slow. I moved it all back to the handheld. :roll:

hmm, I just did this to my SD card, updateing is about the same speed, though i may havee fubard a little. I deleted most of the dirs (keeping 2 that seemed non content related). Avantgo then gave an error, asking me to upgrade. I then copied what dir I had left and it worked, though it looks like untill pages update.. they will be "lost", oops.

freed up about 700K though.

Oddness, Jeff. Mine seemed to take forever when it was updating to the card. Perhaps I am the one who fubared.
