512MB CF card - $141 after $50 rebate at Amazon

There's a deal for a Viking 512MB CF card at Amazon. Today it's $190.99 before $50 rebate. Apparently the price has been fluctuating wildly day-to-day on this. Ordered one today with the free 5-9 day shipping. Maybe it'll arrive at the same time as my Axim....

The 256MB Viking CF is somewhere around $70 after $25 rebate, btw. There's even supposed to be a $25 128MB Viking one, but I can't find it.

Unrelated, but I also picked up Madden NFL 2003 for GBA for $10 (new) there. Don't know how long that price will last, but it's nearly 1/3 the price I've seen it for elsewhere.

Ah yes - thank you for pointing that out. As for the deal - I saw it today but I don't think it was there yesterday. When were you looking?

I was looking yesterday or the day before. I bought a 256mb from a non-affilate last night for a pretty good price.

I figured I could buy a 256mb cf for around $70 and a 256mb sd for around 90-100 (wait for a deal or a rebate) and it would be more useful for me then a single 512mb cf.

I use the cf for my Ipaq only when I'm not in WiFi range, but have a sd in all the time.

I checked last weekend, and SimpleTech (?) had a 512 MB CF card for $199 with a $50 rebate, while Viking had a 512 MB CF card for $190, but with only a $25 rebate, I think.

After the weekend, I checked again, and all 512 MB cards were $230-260. So maybe this is a weekend special.
