Bring Home a Zune to Ireland?

If I buy a Zune in Boston while on vacation next week, will it still work on my PC back in Ireland? Someone suggested I'd have issues with the DRM and the support website and stuff. I'm not sure though - I had no such problems with my iPod which I bought in New York three years ago! Anyone help?

Welcome to Zune Thoughts.

Both the Zune hardware and software will work fine in Ireland. However, you won't have access to the Zune Marketplace using your non-US-based Passport, so that prevents you from purchasing Zune-compatible music. Of course, you can still use your non-DRM'ed media with your Zune. You'd also be hard-pressed getting support if you're not in the US.
