Removing Icons from PPC

I have downloaded a few programmes then found better ones and removed them. However, I am still left with icons which I don't seem to be able to get rid of. I followed the procedure for removing them but can't seem to clear them from the PPC. Any ideas?

Where are the icons? In your Programs menu? If that's the case, go to File Explorer, and go to My Device>Windows>Start Menu>Programs. You can do what you want with them from there.

i'm so appreciative of this posting. i was trying to get rid of the dog-on icons for the longest time and finally...they're gone! there is a God...
