i just KNOW that some of you got excited when u read the subject and thought i had some more information on this for you.. the reason for my post is this: i was just thinking of how SiCKKKK it's gonna be when it's released because the best option for a pocket pc phone as of now is the t-mobile which has 32mb of ram and 4k colors.. Can't freakin wait..and then with the BT headset and GPRS it'll be the best gadget ever invented.. sorry for the boyish giddiness.. anyone with me or what?!   8O 8O 8O

Not here. I don't want to give up WiFi for GSM. Also, I'd rather have CDMA 1xRTT (or its follow-on).

What we all want is combo 1xRTT + GSM/GPRS + Bluetooth + WiFi. Before you say this is impossible, there is a dual-mode Qualcomm cellular chipset that supports the first two, so it's just a matter of combining three wireless chipsets.

I think you'll see such hybrids start to appear in a few years.

The new IPAQ with BT and WiFi + a Ericsson T68i is even greater as such al super pda.. :)
You're always stuck to the "big" thing when you want to take a call.. :-(

But who says that we do not want both?
A SIM Card for the ipaq to communicate with MSN and a T68i for everyday use
:D

I was thinking of waitting for the gsm version as well but i am going with the wifi version and i will use my T68i to use gprs, send sms and do things via my PPC.

if the aqntena was built in or as small as the wifi i would have gone the other path.

Well, it's not what I want. I want CDMA 2000 1x EV-DO (faster than RTT) or W-CDMA (Wide-band CDMA that both CDMA and GSM can be upgraded to), tri-mode 802.11a/b/g and Bluetooth (preferably Class 1 -- 100 M, not 10 M). :-)

No, that's not what you want. You want 100Mbps CDMA 2010 and terabit 802.11zqqgf. All for about $10, with monthly service of $2/mo.
