This is from Skytel, a company who offer the services plus you have to verify your identity which requires you to be at least 18 years of age, you have the option of using your credit card, and different shipping options like using FEDEX Express Overnight for $13 more. I hope that consumers will weigh the consideration and realize the chances they take with unknown small online companies who make deals that are too good to be true versus a company who is well known and established. Also to be consider a brick and mortar company with years of experience.

We're an autrhorized Timex dealer. You can call Timex to verify that we are an authorized dealer. We obtain our stock directly from Timex. All Timex watches we sell are backed directly by Timex and their 1 year warranty.

The watches we sell comes with 12 months of free Skytel service. We've been selling these and other products for 4 years. We're a well known computer reseller.

We also have a brick and mortar location in North Dallas.

We are not a "fly by night" company.

The wholesale cost on these direct from Timex is less than the $59.95 price sell them for. We're just not out gouging anyone.

Well it's up to the consumers who want more security and reliablity to purchase from Skytel Direct versus a Authorize Timex Dealer which personally any company can get when setting up a distributor account. Because simply Skytel is the company who is responsible for the alpha-numeric pager services that will associate with product that you're buying direct from. Such as all purchases and warranty related is there because everything is at the source. Also because a dealer claims to be authorize may not be trully authorize. For the fact some distributors break certain rules that are held with some companies. One of those "golden rules" is cross shipping. A lot of distributors do that for increase in revenue but if investigated and that was found to occur they lose their supplies from that company. In my experience if a dealer is trully authorized then one of the way to verify this is to communicate with that company's directory of authorized dealers. There may be some restriction for certain dealers like whether or not they are even authorize to sell on the internet. For example Sony do not authorize dealers on eBay. Why because there's is a contract agreement specifying sales location. This makes a real difference when the manufacturer warranty is involved.
