I have one more question folks. I appreciate all the help you have provided. The Amazon offer of $200 rebate is valid till Nov 19th. Has anyone purchased the phone through them. Is the quality of customer service any different from the purchase from a dealer for the full amount. That is, will Amazon replace or buy back your phone if there is any problem?

I have purchase "a phone" through amazon (not this paticular one) and I can tell you, if you sign up for the replacement plan from your carrier, your carrier will then replace the phone regardless of where you buy it from.

Further, Amazon is not selling the phone OEM they have actually made deals with the cell. phone carrier (note the rebate is for signing up for service) so you shouldn't have a problem.

But if you want to make completely sure you should e-mail Amazon customer support, they usually answer within 24 hours
