I bought an ipaq 3135 (greyscale) about a year and a half ago and am having problems with the digitizer, which intermittently doesn't work, requiring me to bang the machine a little bit then resetting it, which'll usually do the trick. Anyway, I'd like to upgrade, but am not sure what to buy. I'm considering the 3800 series or the 3900 series, and don't know if the extra money is worth it for the 3900 series. I use (would like to use) my ipaq for the following things: 1) outlook 2) microsoft word 3) internet via a land-line (not mobile internet) 4) power point presentation. Is it worth the extra money to get the 3900 series, and if so, why?

Thanks

Bruce

My advice would be to wait for a couple of months - there's a whole new fleet of devices coming out from HP, Dell, Viewsonic, and others. For your needs, a low-end device that still uses CF cards would be perfect. Wait a bit and see what comes out...
