View Full Version : Task Info and Reminder Settings

I'm looking for a program that allows me to display my tasks on the today screen and also assign reminders at a specific time. Agenda Fusion allows me to do this but I don't need all the other functionality of this program. Dashboard works great but doesn't allow me to set reminders when I want.

Any suggestions?

You need an application that replaces the reminder engine on the Pocket PC, and that's exactly what Agenda Fusion does - I'm not aware of any stand-alone application that will allow you to do this.

What about Agenda Today or Taskview Today from DeveloperOne? Here are the links for those:

I use them both on my today screen for over a year and recently along with Battery Packs set of programs as well. I haven't found many that are better and Dashboard just didn't get it for me either. I also think there's a task-today type program from scarybear as well but don't know much about it.

Thanks for the tip Klanum. I downloaded and tried Taskview but this program didn't allow me to set a reminder alarm when creating a task. I finally settled on Pocket Informant and this is working well for me.

Honestly, you can find so many free today plug-in's to do almost anything you can imagine. Here's a good place to start.

Checked out TaskPlus, thanks.

I really am looking for a program that will allow me to do 2 things:

1. display my tasks/to do's on the today screen

AND

2. allow me to assign a reminder alarm at a specific time when I create the task/to do

So far only PI or Agenda Fusion seem to fill the bill. I've tried both of these progams and finally removed them. I notice a significant speed decrease with both applications.

I may try a program like RemindeMe or BugMe in conjuction with TaskPlus.

Appreciate everyones help.
