Has anyone setup an Mobile Information Server (MIS) to allow Activesync's to your Exchange server via T-Mobile's network. I'm trying to make it work but having problems. I not sure what the "carrier address" for T-Mobile is and I get an "INTERNET_29" error code when I try to sync.
TIA

You will need a VPN connection on your PPC and MIS will need a Microsoft recoginzed security certificate.

I'm heading in that direction if I can get exchange to work right. I've been playing around with them on my test network in hopes that one day I will get it all working.

How about using a third party utility software like Enterprise Intellisync Second Edition. I guess it has a remote synchronization option between the PPC and Microsoft Exchange. The standard version doesnt support the remote access though.
This product had won this years PocketPc magazine award and you can find more details of it at,

I am also headed that direction. But first, I need to get my T-Mobile. I need to find out its reception quality in Lexington, Kentucky before I nosedive.

Great thanks for the info but what about the "carrier address " field once MIS is installed?
