<a href="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/bregonje/thoughts3.tsk">http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/bregonje/thoughts3.tsk</a><br /><br />After the release of Pocket PC Thoughts v2 I had created my own Pocket PC Thoughts theme, which turned out to be my favorite theme on my Pocket PCs. Every time I tried something new, I kept turning back to the Thoughts theme. The only problem was that after the launch of Pocket PC Thoughts v3 I felt out of sync when looking at my Pocket PC.<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/bregonje/thoughts3theme.gif" /><br /><br />And that's why I created a new Pocket PC 2002 theme based on the new look of this site. Feel free to click the title of this post to download it.

Looks very nice, Marlof. But I would have added a gradient to the background instead of a solid blue backdrop. Like this:

Good job!

Hmmm.... as you may have noticed from the lack of gradient in the title bar, I'm not a big fan of gradients on my Pocket PC. I'm a big fan of "clear line" comics and minimalistic design. But if it makes you happy, go for it!

Personally, I'm not a big fan of Pocket PC's flat UI. I prefer something more 3D-ish, like Pocketblinds. But, alas....

Marlof,

I must ask. What is the Today Screen Plug in that you are running. I do not recognize it.....

It's the GPRS Monitor (http://www.softspb.com/products/gprsmonitor/index.html) by SPB Software house. It has quickly become one of the most essential software add-ons to my Pocket PC.

Foo, I like the gradient. Can you shoot that to me - I'll provide a link in this forum.

Here is Foo's theme with the gradient. I think both look cool. Thanks Marlof for whipping this up!

In the Start Bar next to the speaker? That is also the GPRS connection monitor.

Funny, in a bored moment at work today, i just thought about creating a theme based on the "new site" for the "community" here a PPCT. I was just about to start, after making myself a new avatar. And what do i find on the front page?

Well, i got a new theme on my Pocket Pc today. Thanx Marlof.

And btw Ed (since ur post is over mine here) Thanx for explaining what those icons i asked about was on the "Start menu organization"-tread (just chatting forum)

Marlof,
I notice there's a envelope icon at the bottom right hand corner of your screen capture. I wonder if that's a voice mail notification. If so how do i get it to be there when i have a new voice mail?

Liquidrice: the envelope is nPOP (http://www.nakka.com/soft/npop/index_eng.html), a great little POP3 client.

Thanks a lot Ed for the complete alist and URLs.

I use Launcher and didn't even know you can have subfolders with icons; and while testing this I noticed you can paste links to docs as well as apps.
