I am a newbie.. I bought the Toshiba e740 and other than the usual problems listed here before it runs fine. I bought a Kingston 128 MB SD card and put it in...And I tried coping a file to it....I get a error messsage when I try to copy a file to it or create a new folder like "Problem creating new folder". Does it need to be formatted or something? I checked the write protect notch that seems ok...I must be missing something. I look around and I dont see any way to format it...I remember reading somewhere where there was a utility that repaire/formetted cards...that what I need? Thanks...

On my ipaq Ipaq it showed up in file explorer. But if you want to format it there is a option for that in DEXplorer when your "Right Click" on the storage card. But I don't think that will fix your problem.

You should be able to get DEXplorer from http://www.dex-plor.com, I'm still using the demo version, but I'm close to droping the 14 bucks for it any day now.

And says under Settings, Memory that it has 122.41 MB Free and 0 MB in use..so it knows about the device, but I cant copy anything to it...

Try creating a directory called My Documents on the SD card, and then copying your file(s) into that directory (or sub-dirs to it)....that just might solve your problem.
