Anyone been able to do this or give me a start in the right direction. Any does anyone know of a wand scanner that is compatible with the Ipaq or where I could get one from. Cheers :D

Do you mean set up the port (data rate, bits, etc.), or access the port via VB or C++?

Check www.mobileplanet.com and search for Bar Code to find wand, gun and CF scanners.

Also http://www.systemid.com/index3.asp has PDA solutions and lots of other info.
