Hi I'm new here and I just bought my first PDA yesterday. The Compaq iPAQ 3835. They are having a great deal on it right now! Anyways, I synchronized it with my laptop through the USB cradle. I was wondering if it is possible to use my laptop's internet connection for the iPAQ. I have not bought a wireless CF card yet nor a CF expansion pack. So, I would need a way that uses the USB cradle or infrared port.

Also, I was wondering if anyone makes an 802.11A CF card since I have that in my home and not 802.11B. I could only find B cards. Should I even buy a CF expansion pack or buy a PC Card expansion back and use a PC Card to connect the iPAQ? Sorry for all the questions but just want to learn some things since I'm a newbie. :D

I'm sorry but everything I find under the search term is connecting by Bluetooth, wireless networking, or some other ways. If someone wouldn't mind giving me a run down of what I have to do to access the internet either through the USB cradle or infrared port, I'd appreciate it.

You should have waited for the 5400 Series iPAQs that is being released this Christmas.
