Disk Space & Movies

I haven't recieved my new Toshiba E310 Yet, but I was wondering how much disk space does the E310 have (32 MB right??) I'm very PPC illiterate at this moment. And would it be possible to RIP DVD to play on my PPC?? I've heard it done before somehow... I think...

e310 does have 32MB RAM - remember that not all of that will be for your storage pleasures - some of that RAM will be needed in order to run your programs - your 32MB RAM almost serves like both the hard disk and RAM of an actual PC.

as for ripping DVD's - check out www.pocketmovies.net for info about this. click on DVD FAQ. if you do want to watch a dvd rip on your PPC, you will definitely need to buy an SD card, probably of at least 256MB. there is no way you will fit an entire movie on a meager 15MB of RAM or so. My guess is a decent quality rip for PPC will probably be around 200MB (?)
