Disabled 'let down' by mobile firms
Many mobile phone firms do not offer adequate help for disabled users, argues BBC producer Colin Hughes.
In July I highlighted the difficulties of getting Bluetooth headsets for mobile phones to work for me.
Just came across this article as follow-up to a discussion we had a while back "Headset Hassles and Bluetooth Aches". The article about Bluetooth headset troubles for diasbled users highlights differences in technical support between the USA and UK. I wonder does this difference in technical support also happen with Pocket PCs? I haven't needed technical support for my HP Jornada 545, but then again I'm not a major user of it..... Also do Pocket PC firms cater for diasbled users? Just curious!
