Busted e310 two days out of the box...

I suppose the topic says it all. I was viewing an avi with pocketdivx and the unit crashed. I then tried to hit the power button, but that did nothing. I was able to hit the reset switch, but that only brought me to the 'boot screen'. I have since called support, only thing I can do is return it to be serviced. No one there can help ya past reseting the unit. Anyone have any suggestions as to what to try? :evil:

You've tried resetting it, you've tried removing the batteries and backup battery. Or maybe cannot depending on the unit.

Can you exchange it? Take to some store, stick it in some salesperson's face and tell them, 'You make it work!'

If resetting doesn't get you anywhere, it's toast.

If you have the box, just take it back to the store. If it was somewhere like CompUSA, they will probably just hand you a new box. They have swapped me out products I didn't even have the recepit for....and since it is two days old, you should have the recepit.

by reset, do you mean soft or hard reset? if you meant soft, then do a hard reset.
