Ipaq Clock

I usually have my ipaq set to "synchronize mobile device clock when connecting" in AS.

I find that if when I have the ipaq home on the weekend and I may not sync for 2 or 3 days, my ipaq clock and show the wrong time by as much as 1/2 hour. (I can't recall whether 1/2 hour too fast or too slow) but over the course of a couple of days without syncing, the clock can be very unreliable.

Anyone else have this problem?

One thing that can create a clock error is performing a soft reset while the device it turned off. If you do a soft reset while the device is turned ON, the clock is fine. If you do it while it's off, it reverts the the time at which you last turned the device on.

I did not know that!
As a practice, I turn off my ipaq before doing a soft re-set. Perhaps I should change my ways.
