I'm using the D-Link DWL-520 on my desktop to connect peer to peer to my pda which is using a D-Link DCF-660w compact flash wireless card.
I can get a connection fine, access the web through internet connection sharing, check emails etc... but only for a certain amount of time. After about an hour the BSS ID changes to 44:44:44:44:44:44, and I can no longer connect or even ping, even after 'rescanning' to get a new BSS ID in the 'Wireless Configuration Utility'.
The only way to fix the problem is to restart the desktop.
I can recreate the same situation by clicking the 'rescan' button, this causes the same problem.
Maybe it automatically rescans every so often.
Any ideas on how to fix the problem?
-Both my desktop and Pocket PC are set to 802.11 AdHoc, channel 6, and have the same SSID.
