Toshiba E310 sound quality

Just got an E310, on the whole really happy with it. Can't stop picking it up and doing pointless things.

However, am dissapointed at sound quality both from speaker and earphones. Both sound as tinny as warehouse of tin cans.

There appears to be no equalizer on media player but have just seen another post regarding "withMP3" which boasts an equalizer. Downloaded it, played it, still sounds rubbish.

Is it the machine or the current crop of software?

Have you tried using a nice set of earphones? The ones that ship with all Pocket PCs are complete crap. :D

didnt even get phones with mine!

but, yes - did try with decent set and it's still sounds like a camels arse im afraid - thanks for the hint tho'! :)
