Hi,

I just got my Loox and a new phone. They both have BlueTooth and the phone has a GPRS.
They see each other, but I can not make a connection to intenet with Loox. It starts ok, but every time the connection stops after a few seconds....
Any ideas?

The problem is that the Loox BT software, Pocket Plugfree craps big time!
It requires an AREA CODE before it can connect. So here's what you must do:

1. Create a "dummy" area code
- Go to Built-in CONTACTS
- Select Tools -> Options
- Type "65" (I use this as a test)

2. Set up "Dialing Locations"
- Go to Settings -> Connection -> Dialing Locations
- Create a new one called "GPRS"
- Type area code of 65
- Click on Dialing Patterns
- Type "G" for ALL

3. Test with Pocket PlugFree
- Bond and establish connection with 7650
- Click on 7650
- Select Internet
- Type "65", "65", and "*99#".

4. If successfull, you will be prompted with a username/password

WARNING:
If you use a Socket WLAN card, it somehow messed up your Loox<->7650 connection and you must do the above again.

I can't get this to work for me :?

I'm getting the Username and Password prompt, but what do I do from there, I just press ok but then it doesn't find anything at the number dialed...my phone doesn't need a password...this is damn stupid, there is the connect2i too but it's only in German

There is a tested and fully working guide to connecting a Loox to a Nokia 7650 here (http://firstloox.org/forums/showthread.php?s=fd2cb48638191c7c4b6e954c908b005f&threadid=348#How%20do%20I%20use%20the%20Pocket%20Loox%20with%20a%20Bluetooth%20enabled%20mobile%20phone).
