hi. i just bought my new e310 and its a great little toy! i cant wait to start using it for many new things. i've noticed on this board that a lot of people have had some memory card issues. i was wondering if someone could clear this up. i've seen kingston 128 MB for $126? is that a good price? http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/configurator/PartsInfo.asp?ktcpartno=SD/128&referid=28 or what other companies, if any, are reliable. And is it correct that the Toshiba e310 only uses SD chips? And what are PC Cards? They seem to have up to 5 GB? thank you very much!

128MB for $126 is a terrible deal, to be frank. you could probably find a decent SD card with double the memory for that cost. you can get a 128MB SD card for around $60 if you look around for a while. the only compatibility issues i've heard of are of that with Sandisk cards. pretty much any brand should do....i don't have experience first hand with SD cards, but i know that with other memory cards (like CF and smartmedia, any ol' brand has sufficed for me)

answer to your question - the e310 will only take SD cards, as it only has an SD slot.

PC card is a large card, which you can only use with your PDA if you have a PC Card expansion sleeve, which isn't made for the e310. In other words, you can't use a pc card with your e310.

This is a GREAT deal: you get a 256 MB SD card and a console that lets you connect it to any USB port - I bought one and it's very, very cool.

$159 US for both the SD card and the Cruzer!
