Cool way to waste CPU cycles

Drempels (http://www.geisswerks.com/drempels/) definitely has to be one of the coolest addon programs I've seen in a long time. It basically animates your desktop background and the technique it uses to do so is very well done. Of course at 1280x1024 it uses 40% of the CPU resources but does it ever look good doing so.

What's even cooler and does basicly the same is winamp 3 with overlay mode on desktop.

Being using something like this on the Mac. Very cool (but useless) - makes the laptop more like a griddle!
