View Full Version : Ebooks Why id Adobe Reader the main format?

increasingly when I try to find an ebook I find it is published in Adobe and not MS Reader. I dont have anything against Adobe appart from the books cannot be used on my PPC!

PDF's can be viewed on the PocketPC. There is a free version of Acrobat Reader for the PocketPC. What device do you have - I'll try and find the link for you. I use the PDF viewer on my iPAQ 3850 to look at A3 technical drawings and it is impressive. It will also read PDF documents.

I believe www.ansyr.com would satisfy your needs although expensive, very good at what it does

Sorry to confuse I ment tha Adobe Ebook Reader format not PDF.
Most Amazon ebooks are in this format!
I will keep searching

As far as I know, Adobe Ebook files are PDF files. That being said, there is no "Adobe Ebook Reader" for any PDA, it is a desktop application only...
