View Full Version : HandheldCanada having trouble obtaining T-Mobile

Just visited www.handheldcanada.com to check the status of the T-Mobile they're offering, and now their website shows that they are currently NOT accepting orders due to unexpected complications with their supplier.
I have just emailed them asking if this also applies to those of us who have an inhouse order from last week. Will wait to see what the response is..... let's hope it's just a temporary glitch and not that they have to cancel all of our dreams and expectations for their promised August 27th delivery receipt.
Brian.

Update:
A full week and they haven't replied to my email. No word if they will honour existing orders and if so, when will they ship?!

Hello Brian,
We are expecting our first shipment of T-Mobile handhelds this week. I understand your concern about the removal from our site and the delay in receiving these units, however we will honor the orders that we have taken and are working hard to secure a supply in order to offer the T-Mobile to our Canadian customers. I apologise for not responding to your email of last week, as we do have a policy of responding to customer emails promptly. We cannot promise a delivery date, because the best we can do is give a ETA based on information from the supplier, and sometimes there are delays that are beyond our control and we update the ETA. I will find out what happened to your email and ensure that a customers concerns are responded to as soon as possible

I am glad for there being a response here on the site. I do have a question and that is what Darren's position is there?
I am saying this so that we know it is a valid response from someone who is working on it , or to the very least has the authority to do so.
I am also wondering about the supplier of the equipment for T-Mobile.
What units are we referring to as well?

Darren,
Thank you for replying to this forum.
Being one to have acted immediately and ordered the T-Mobile from Handheld Canada, does your message mean that I am guaranteed to see my device ship next week then? In other words, are you able to fulfill all received orders with this expected shipment or will some of us with in-house orders be left waiting?

Hello Brian,
You are correct in thinking that your order will ship this week, and we ordered more than enough to cover the orders we have taken so far. We made sure with our supplier that our customers' orders were covered by making sure that our first order was indeed coming in to us. To answer David's question, my position is Sales/Purchasing so I am very qualified to answer your questions. I am just as frustrated you guys are and we are doing all we can to expedite this order and to insure that we can get more of these T-Mobiles for future orders because we are sure that they will be very good sellers :!:

Darren:
Good news or bad, I have great respect in a company that at least gives us full disclosure of the situation.... thank you.
Hope you can resolve the supplier issue quickly, for as you say, these items will sell quickly....especially being the first in Canada to sell them!
