Anybody had this problem with Linksys Router/802.11b CF?

I am at the point of throwing out my Linksys router and returning back the Linksys 802.11b CF (WCF12) I've recently purchased. The problem is that I cannot establish a connection between them for the life of me. I've tried changing and tweaking just about every setting in the router, and still, I can't get iPaq to associate. Restoring factory default settings does not work either. I've also tried: reinstalling WCF12 software on iPaq, resetting the router, and disconnecting and reconnecting the router.

Anyone had a similar experience?

It might simply be defective hardware - it's not all that uncommon with WiFi hardware.

Sorry, I left out something important. The CF card actually worked for a short while. I was able to establish a connection out of the box. But last week, the card suddenly stopped working. I can see the card scanning for the signal, but to no avail.
