Can anyone help me with Pass Through??

I have tried to set this up my self but I have no idea what I am doing, Tosh e570 docked into my work pc fine and syncs every time.

I have selected allow pass through but that by itself doesnt work, all I get is.( Also tried as a guest)

You were denied acccess because:
Access denied by access control list.
(Even though I have no restriction on my web access)

I guess it is something to do with connections in the PocketPC. But I have no idea what to do in there.

Any help would be really usefull

IF YOU HAVE POCKET PC 2002: Let's say you are using your device at work and your work uses a proxy for internet connectivity. In connectrions manager, you should configure Work to reflect the proxy server under "when needed, automatically connect to the internet..."

Now for 'when needed, automatically connect to Work..." I have that set to Work Settings. I also have my network card connect to Work.

Works like a champ.

Let's say you you have a broadband or dialup connection at home with no proxy. You can either leave everything the way it is above and take the proxy out, or set your connection manager to Internet Settings. Then when you are connected to the internet on the desktop or laptop, the passthrough should work again.

You should be able to browse the internet, and with the right option selected for your connection in Inbox, get your pop mail.

From your comment "IF YOU HAVE POCKET PC 2002:" I guess this feature does not work on the PPC 2000 OS. My colleague likes the way I get my POP e-mail and surf wirelessly using pass through. Looks like he may be disappointed with his Jornada 540 and PPC 2000 OS.

Correct - it's not supported under Pocket PC 2000.
