<a href="http://www.tesco.com/pocketshopper/">http://www.tesco.com/pocketshopper/</a><br /><br />I don't know how long the Tesco Pocket PC shopper has been live, but it obviously is! Ed <a href="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=588">posted about the beta</a> in March, but now it's released. We got the following from a visitor: "Tesco, the UK's leading supermarket ... have launched the Tesco Grocery Shopper, a Pocket PC application that allows customers to choose from 20,000+ products sold in their local Tesco superstore and add them to a basket on their Pocket PC wherever they are and whenever they want! To checkout, they simply cradle-sync with their internet-connected PC or use a direct internet connectio via wired or wireless LAN or mobile phone data link with internet connectivity."<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/tesco_01.jpg" />

Works very well for me - surprisingly useful, once you've got to grips with not seeing the product before you buy it.

The beta was a nightmare on an E125 - but the final result has been flawless so far.

Did my first Tescos shop a week ago on the PC. I installed the PocketPC version a week later and did my first wireless shop on Saturday. All goods arrived safe and sound the next morning! :D

There's nothing better than doing the grocery shopping in the kitchen where I can look in the fridge and cupboards to see exactly what I need! I did my whole order through Wi-Fi, but even without Wi-Fi I get the impression that one could fill the basket in the kitchen and then sync and complete the order from the PC. Hat's Off to the Tescos crew for creating an extremly useful Pocket PC App!

This looks a good bit of software but unfornately it crashes out when I try to view a product on my Jornada 545. I hope Tesco get this to work on older PPC's

As a former Webvan employee (and customer and stock owner), this is the kind of thing I had hoped we would have someday released.

I would have loved, as a customer, to be able to go through the kitchen with the PPC, noting what all groceries we needed and then ordered them simply by syncing the PPC.
