Using the Encarta Pocket Dictionary

I am wondering if anyone has found a quicker way of searching for words within the Encarta Pocket Dictionary.

I noticed that when I use the 'Lookup...' function for words within an e-book or even within the dictionary itself, the search time is really quick. But when looking for words using the 'Find...' within the dictionary, the search time is quite long.

I would probably find it quicker to create an ebook myself with the words I want to search for and using the 'Lookup...' function to search for the meaning. :-)

Any help would be appreciated.

There's no magic bullet here - the search time is a matter of CPU speed and code optimization...and it's just a little slow. :-)
