When oh when will this thing be in Canada? It is exactly what I have been looking for! I sent emails to Rogers and Fido (both on the GSM service in Canada) and have yet to hear back from them.

Would you be able to order it from mobileplanet.com, just saw that they have it in stock. I got mine at t-mobile store, signed up for the istream plan and canceled it a day later and kept the phone with my current service. perhaps you can do that and just use ur canadian gsm card.

Who is your other service? I was under the impression that the North American devices would be SIM locked. Are you in the US or Canada, and what did it cost you, if you don't mind me asking.
