<a href="http://www.compu2go.com/arkonmount.html">http://www.compu2go.com/arkonmount.html</a><br /><br />Ever thought about making use of your Pocket PC's MP3 or GPS abilities while driving? If so, you will need a solid mount. John Mierau, <a href="http://www.compu2go.com/">compu2go.com</a>, reviews the Arkon PDA Mount.<br /><br />"A PDA is a big investment. I like the idea of having MP3's at my fingertips while I'm rollin' down the highway, but I've always been skittish about seeing my Jornada sliding onto the floor screen-first, or not seeing it &amp; dropping my backpack on top of it. The Arkon mount has put those fears to rest. In the few weeks I've had the Arkon mount it's stood up to the harsh treatment I've put it through &amp; provided a safe platform for listening to MP3's, charging my device while commuting &amp; keeping it from harm's way while on the road."<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/arkon_01.jpg" />

I use the Arkon double mount, for PDA and Mobile phone. It is a GREAT product. With the Bluetooth connection between the PPC and the phone, Running Voice GSM and a headset, it is the ideal setup. I choose from the PPC phonebook, the phone dials, then the headset takes control. Beautiful.

I use the passenger seat Arkon Mount (CM425). This is totally a great product and is so much better then just putting my iPAQ in a drink holder or something. Since I am often using my Pocket PC for music it is right by the stereo and I like it being out of the way and not so much on my dashboard.

I bought the Pocket CoPilot GPS sleeve for my iPAQ 3650 (and now my 3870). It came with a windshield mount, which has worked pretty well. However, it is not perfect, and my iPAQ has fallen from my windshield to the floor a few times.

The windshiled mount is a locking suction cup attached to a flexible arm with a mount that slides into the GPS sleeve. Is the Arkon mounting system any better (as far as falling down)?

When I don't take my GPS sleeve and I want to listen to MP3s, I just put the iPAQ on the passenger seat. Yes, it slides around, but I'd rather have it fall from the seat to the floor than the windshield to floor (or, worse, to the stick shift or console).
