What keyboard shortcuts work?

I am just curious if anyone has seen a comprehensive listing of what keyboard shortcuts work. You can do these with SIP's like QWERTY and FITALY, but they really pay off on a physical keyboard like the Stowaway. Here is what I have figured out so far:<br /><br /><b>Almost all apps</b><br />CTRL-N - New item (spreadsheet in Excel, document in Word, task in Tasks, etc.)<br />CTRL-Q - Save and Exit<br />CTRL-S - Save<br />CTRL-X,C,V - Cut, Copy and Paste, respectively<br />CTRL-A - Select All<br /><br /><b>Excel Only</b><br />CTRL-D - Copy Down (Whatever is in the top cell of your selection is copied down to all cells in your selection)<br />CTRL-R - Copy Right (Same and Copy Down, just Right <img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" />)<br /><br />Anyone have any others? Unfortunately, two of my favorites do not work. CTRL-B (bold) and CTRL-I (italics). CTRL-E (center) and CTRL-U (Underline) don't work either.

'Course, Jay Lagorio's "WordCommands" (http://members.tripod.ca/~paragon1/wordcommands) is a godsend for the Stowaway. Now if it could only be extended to work with FITALY and my desktop keyboard when I'm using PocketController. And while we're on the topic:

1) Really, really wish FITALY had dedicated Cut, Copy and Paste keys.
2) I long ago found out that the old CTRL ALT SHFT cheat also works (minus the ALT) on Pocket Solitaire.

Two commands that I've used quite a bit in Microsoft Word are

CNTL-Shift-Del and CNTL-Backspace

Will delete the entire word. Use either depending on where the cursor is located in respect to which word you would like to delete

I just wanted to let you know that I posted a review on Jay's program, WordCommands, here on Pocket PC Life (http://www.pocketpclife.co.uk/featureddetails.asp?article=108). In this review is a screenshot which lists the shortcuts and you can see that most are included in this awesome FREE program. Jay is a regular contributor and moderator over on the Pocket PC Passion boards and is very helpful in the Jornada community.

Feel free to delete this post if it is wrong to link to my own review. I just thought the screenshot and more comments may be helpful to the discussion. If so, sorry about that and I won't do it again.

do you have a stowaway keyboard, or another brand of external keyboard that attaches to your pocket pc? when you use pocket word, you've probably tried to type a document, during which you've pressed ctrl+b or ctrl+i out of habit. what happens then? well...nothing. pocket word ignores your command and continues to give you a plain, normally-formatted text that doesn't have bold, underlined, or italicized text like you had asked.

however, there's an easy and simple way to get this without doing much of anything that's different from what you would normally do on your pc's word processor. it's called wordcommands. wordcommands will attach to pocket word and intercept those keyboard shortcuts that word doesn't pay attention to. then, when it sees that you've typed a key combination, it will send the appropriate message to pocket word, which will act as if you've just tapped the correct button or selected the proper menu item.

wordcommands is free, and even has a help window that will help you remember all of the combinations it recognizes. just press ctrl+h. would you like to quit pocket word and free up some memory? now there's a quit command, ctrl+q, that will even save your work for you. the rest of he recognized commands are:

ctrl+b bold text
ctrl+i italic text
ctrl+u underlined text
ctrl+l left justification
ctrl+e center justification
ctrl+r right justification
ctrl+t bullets
ctrl+d formatting dialogbox
ctrl+p paragraph dialogbox

ctrl+n new
ctrl+z undo
ctrl+y redo
ctrl+7 spell check (pocket pc 2002 only, except upgraded ipaqs)
ctrl+w word count (pocket pc 2002 only)
ctrl+m hide sip panel
ctrl+5 insert date
ctrl+s save & close document
ctrl+q save & quit

I am such a loser. :-(

I downloaded it a few months ago, it didn't work for some reason, set it aside, and through a new laptop and 2 hard reset Pocket PCs I had forgotten about it. I have redownloaded it and will definitely give it another go.

I am still interested in the end all be all list of shortcuts natively supported by the Pocket PC and built in apps though. Word isn't where I spend most of my time.
