Animated forum icon?

Maybe I'm a bit slow, but I just noticed that some of the forum topic threads have an animated icon. It shrinks and expands. What does this mean?

Go to the bottom of the forum, there is an explanation for each icon.....

I only show 3 different icons on the bottom of the forum page. Your graphic showed 6! Thanks for the info!

If you're in the forum index, you see only three...
If you go into "Just Chattin'"(Or any other forum), you'll see more...
